Stopped here for lunch with one of my sisters on a beautiful day and sat outside.

Menu is pretty extensive with all types of latin staples, with a focus on Salvadorean and Mexican food.

Chips & salsa are freebies that come out not long after sitting down.  Chips tasted fresh and the salsa as well.

Decided on the "Lechon" which is slow cooked pork and a side of sweet plantains.  My sister got the tacos.

Service was very good, as we got waters within two seconds of sitting down and the drink order went in quick.  Our waitress anticipated refills at the right time too, which I LOVE when you don't have to ask for almost anything.

Food portions are enough where you're definitely not going to go hungry for a few hours.

I wasn't totally blown away, but I certainly got what I expected in terms of my experience.  Food is good, and service was stellar.  Can't ask for more than that when stopping for lunch!

My friend raves about this place and is a frequent diner. So, I wasn't surprised when she suggested drinks and dinner here after work one day.

She got there before me and chose an outdoor seat. The outdoor seating isn't the best as this restaurant is located in a strip mall off a busy street. Outdoor seating is on the sidewalk, outside of the restaurant, right alongside the busy streets and nearby stores like CVS, Gold's Gym, Paisano's - basically, the outdoor seating isn't scenic, nor serene.

We were greeted immediately and ordered margaritas (nothing to rave about). We were brought over chips that could of used a touch more salt, but we sure did eat em' up though!

I got chicken tacos. I asked for one soft shell and one hard shell, but I received two soft - no big deal, simple mistake. I ate what they brought me. The tacos come with two tacos, beans and rice (also normal taco must haves like guacamole, sour cream, pico, etc.). Let me tell you the tacos, were...PLAIN, MEH, BORING. The chicken was flavorless and clearly did not have a lot of Mexican seasoning. I did quite enjoy the beans and rice. The meal was certainly edible, but frankly, I can make better tacos myself.

My friend got a chicken burrito (with green tomatillo sauce). She was raving and moaning about it throughout dinner. She made me try hers since I was so uninspired by my meal. I tasted hers and I was AMAZED...at how people's taste buds could be SO different! Her meal was also...dull and lacked flavor. All in all, everything was OKAY, nothing more.

Some of menu items are good and the margaritas are really good. Avoid the chili relanos they are gross and clearly made from a frozen product. Also the salsa is great but the chips are flimsy. Not a place to experiment.

A more recent visit has caused us to lower our rating. Tonight we got frozen guacamole dip. We're talking solid frozen. This is not fresh food here.

    Gordon Ramsey where are you?

Favorite Happy Hour Spot in Virginia!
For only $5, they have a variety of margaritas. Unlike most places, the liquor is already mixed in the margaritas, so they don't melt as quick! Chips and Salsa are always a plus!
The best part about the establishment, however, are definitely the servers! Their hospitality makes you feel at home every time!

If you want mediocre to bland Tex-Mex food, this place is for you.

I got three things and none of them are worthy to get you over here. The horchata tastes more like a milk than, well, like a horchata. The soup has zero taste, and the burrito I had was a solid C at best. What is worse, is I dropped $25 for it.

I had heard good things about this restaurant, but unfortunately, the quality of the food overtakes the value of friendly and efficient service. I cannot endorse that.

    Not recommended. Sorry.
